I am Daniel Anderson, a seasoned Motion Controls Engineer based in Arvada, CO and the founder of Merrier World Co. With extensive experience in the nano-precision motion world, I have established expertise in the production, validation, and support of motion stages and systems before spending two years managing operations and personnel, from facilities and hiring to sales consulting and technical support. Holding both B.S. and M.S. degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Colorado School of Mines, I am excited to learn new software, hardware, and procedures, resulting in efficient problem solving skills and a high tolerance for technical 'firefighting'.
I am an expert in measurement, analysis, and data processing for sub-micron linear accuracy, straightness, flatness, pitch, yaw, roll, runout, 2D accuracy, 3D accuracy, and volumetric accuracy for motion stages, with a high competency in assembly, testing, installation, troubleshooting, training, and technical support (remote and onsite) of motion systems.
